Elizabeth E E Ridings has been involved in designing jewelry since 1983, and has taken multiple courses from the Gemological Institute of America in New York and Santa Monica as well as many ongoing jewelry-related continuing education courses.
She started working with dichroic glass in 1999, and integrated it into classic jewelry styles. Her favorite dichroic glass is DichroMagic, which is manufactured by Austin Thin Films in Austin, Texas.
Studio Tripleee trademarked the name "Dichropal®" in July 2004!
Dichropal® is a stone made from dichroic glass, which has properties of reflecting two or more colors from different angles . . . similar to opals - thus Dichropal®.
